I Know What You Did Last Summer postcards
I recently had the pleasure of working with Popcore and Sony Pictures on a set of four exclusive postcards which were given away to moviegoers at AMC Theatres on the first two opening nights of the legacy horror sequel (17th and 18th of July 2025)!
The idea was that with each subsequent design, the fisherman would become progressively more apparent, with the first three scenes feeling at first glance like legit postcards from South Port where the series is set.
The concepts had already been agreed between Popcore and Sony when I came aboard, so we were able to move pretty quickly from rough sketches to final paintings. I’m always happy to be involved at the concept stage, but sometimes it’s nice to simply get hired and get painting.

Painting the postcards was great fun in and of itself, and then Popcore added the pitch-perfect typography to the road and the marina cards to bring it all together.
Everything went off to print (with the postcards being printed together in a concertina design) and I moved onto other projects, but it was super exciting to see people getting these on the opening nights.
Perhaps coolest of all, a QR code could be found on the ‘mirror’ design, which you could then use to make the card say ‘Name, I Know What You Did Last Summer’.
I’m also very grateful to Popcore and Sony for having my name credited on the back of the cards. I’ve really appreciated gaining some new followers from the campaign, and have even had people telling me they went to see the film several times, partly to get more postcard sets!
As someone who loves being able to go to the cinema, and hopes they can always remain open, being able to contribute to a marketing campaign designed to help get people going to the cinema (even if it’s only for AMC Theatres in this case!) has really made this a career highlight.

I’ve got plenty more stuff to tell you about properly soon, but on a horror-related note, ICYMI on social media elsewhere, I’ve designed a set of 12 officially licensed Stranger Things enamel pin badges, which are now available in my store!
